Scholarship Opportunities
The Club offers a competitive scholarship pathway:
Through Solo – Students may qualify for support covering all of their costs through their first solo flight.
Private Pilot Glider Rating – After passing the FAA Private Glider written exam, students may apply for additional scholarship funding to complete their pilot journey to the Private Pilot certificate.
Scholarships are awarded through a competitive process that includes a written essay and interviews with the scholarship committee. We anticipate that Youth Members who volunteer for the club, working the flight lines or helping with supervised maintenance tasks, will receive preferential standing before the Scholarship Committee. If you are interested, download the form below, attach your essay, and submit it as directed to be considered. Applicants can reapply as often as they wish.
