We added a new glider to our training fleet. Dave Olson and his wife drove to Nampa, ID, to pick up our new Blanik and trailer. It is the older but reliable L-13 model. To our knowledge, only 3 L-13s were returned to the factory for rebuilding the spars to address a devastating FAA AD notice. This makes our L-13 one of the most valuable in the country. Steve Sliwa and Bruce Campbell flew in Steve’s new Vision Jet with Tim Gardner and Tom Stowers to help take apart and stow the glider on the trailer.
